Rediscovered Closet & Hair

Have you ever walked in to your walk-in closet, or any closet really, and emerged with a bunch of stuff that you forgot you owned? I found these amazing aviator sunglasses by Miu Miu. I did a post on these ions ago (way back when I started blogging). The sides have a metal netting effect, I love these SO much.

Next, I probably shouldn't tell you this because I'm ashamed. Since March of last year I had lost my round tag Tiffany bracelet. About two weeks ago I found it, in my car, under the seat, two links from slipping completely under the car's floorboard, about 3 inches away from the door. I couldn't believe I had found it! Over a stupid pen I had dropped. It is officially my luckiest pen. Through everything, it stayed in one spot for nearly a year. Getting in and out of the car everyday, and it being right under me. I lost sleep over that bracelet, it was so special to me and not because it's Tiffany's but because it has sentimental value. Haven't taken it off since. Yaaaaaaaaaay, Okay enough with the stupid bracelet.

As you can see from the photo above, my hair has a lot of outgrowth. A long time ago I had went through some serious (hair) treatments that left my hair in the worst condition ever. Even if I was to die my hair 2 shades darker, the actual structure of the hair would still be less than good. My hair would be probably 3 inches shorter than what it is now, but it would look a lot better. I don't want to cut my hair off completely because sometimes when you start cutting, it stops growing! Don't ask me how that works, I have no idea. I'm thinking about taking two inches off today and as it grows, cut more off to get rid of the ends. After that process is done, I'm going to recut my bangs like this:

I like real choppy bangs lining my face. And a darker blonde like this:

This hair color is close to my natural, and wouldn't clash if I did decide to add some natural blonde highlights, like seen in the photo. Chances are my existing light highlights would show through a little.

A Resolution & Lululemon Haul

Hi, everyone! I posted a while ago that I'd be relauching my blog for the new year, and it's the new year (18 days in to it to be exact)! As much as I loved 2011, I feel like I tried everything to just get by. I was still adjusting to a new environment. I've been too worried about the future, when in reality I should just love the moment. The future will take care of itself, as long as I'm productive and prioritize! So this year I'm going to be working on:

Expanding my interests. Don't focus entirely on school, but also being healthy and active.
Don't think of exercising as a chore, but more of a lifestyle.. get inspired and do what I love.
Instead of being on the internet or watching movies, I need to spend my time doing things that encourage me to succeed.
Maintaining clean bedroom (assign cleaning tasks everyday).
Keep up on the laundry.
Stay organized with school/school activities.
Become more committed in my current activties. If I can't commit to them, obviously I'm not loving what I'm doing.
Be less of a drunken sailor aka potty mouth. haha
Keep a day timer/calender up to date.

Blogging goals

Blog more frequent (yes yes yes)
More pictures!
Find my blogging style and stick with it. When I think least about things and just live, that's when magic happens. With commitment, my blogging style will come on its own.
Interact more with my readers and meet other bloggers.

If you noticed, I never put dieting down.. that's just because I want to make goals that will last forever. A diet will eventually end, and then what? A new resolution? No thank you....

Now to the exciting part... I went shopping at one of my favorite stores, lululemon. I've been looking for a gym bag but hadn't found the right one until I looked at lulu! Here is my new gym bag:

It has a ridiculous amount of pockets, which is perfect for organization and keeping things clean! This is a great all-around bag for when I go to the gym, skating, skiing, etc.... It was only $59 :).

I also got these super comfy crop yoga pants.. they are HOT pink with slits on the back.

So that's my first post of the new year! Since I plan to cut internet as part of my resolutions, I hope my blog develops in to a place where I can come and showcase fashion, fitness, and my accomplishments. Keep checking back and reading your feeds for more of my posts. Thanks for staying a loyal reader through all of this 2011 madness, hopefully 2012 will be even better. Can't wait to share my year!

Delicious healthy snacks!

It's hard finding things that are good and don't lose your interest to junk food. I love my healthy snacks. I don't think it's how much you eat that matters, but more of what you eat. You can't gain weight eating healthy food. Here are my favorites:

Freeze dried fruit is SO good and sweet, it's almost like candy! I also get a lot of enjoyment out of blending healthy smoothies/juice in my blendtec! To be healthy I believe you have to find something that works for you. Then and only then, you will really be able to stick to your new lifestyle. It's totally fine to indulge a little in delicious food, I do it everyday-but I eat healthy foods to make up for it!
